The other day I was working behind the computer when I suddenly craved potatoes. I sliced up some fingerling potatoes, greased them with olive oil and left them in a 375F heated oven.
I went back to work and totally forgot to take them out, OOPS! I ran to the kitchen, opened up the oven and instead of finding unrecognizable-charcoaled objects I found the most perfect roasted fingerling potatoes. Oh boy I was so excited to try them and even more excited when they tasted just like French fries!
Because of leaving them in the over for so long (an hour) the skins were all shriveled up which delivered a delicious crunch. And the grease of the olive oil grease added to that “fried” feeling. Wehooo !!! Make your own healthy fries!!
