I’ll give you three good reasons why you should make friends with whole grain bread.
1) White bread makes you fat
White flour has been refined and stripped of the nutritious and fiber-rich part of the seed. Refined food isn’t good for you. The more refined foods you eat the more insulin must be produced to manage it and insulin promotes the storage of fat.
2) White bread contains chemicals
Additives and chemicals are added to white flour! Can you believe it? One of these chemicals is chlorine, used as a bleaching agent. Do I need to say more?
3) White bread equals eating a piece of cardboard
It simply has no useful dietary benefits.
There’s a lot more I could say about white bread, but I think you got the message, right?!
