We all know that besides eating healthy we have to be active & exercise to get in shape or stay in shape. Choose something you enjoy doing, otherwise you’re not going to look forward to exercise and you won’t really commit to it. When doing something you enjoy it’s more likely that you’ll make it part of your healthy routine. I personally find it very helpful to set clear goals for myself.
When I started training for my first 10k run I wasn’t in the best cardio shape and the runs weren’t easy. I made sure to have a goal for each sessions and the more I ran the easier it became. I ran my first 10K, had a great finish time and I was so proud of myself I now really enjoy running and run at least twice a week.
I love mixing up my exercise as I tend to get bored quickly. I currently live in Miami and mostly run, do yoga, spinning classes, paddle boarding and kiteboarding. Adventurous outdoor sports are certainly amongst my favorites, it’s the best feeling to do something you love, knowing it will keep you in shape.
